Self improvement

A levels results is PROBABLY (not sure not certain, i have no inside info, don't hold my word to it) going to be out on the 6th of March. That's exactly one week from now >.<

I'm almost prepared to cry..but considering since non-As are within my expectations since long ago, I'm probably not going to be really really broken down. I might even be able to recover within a day. It'd be good if I can get an A for at least econs though. I love the subject. Just doing an essay outline for my sis last night gave me so much joy..lol. I'd probably hate it if I were to do it at uni level though..Not sure. Thinking of backup plans for when I don't get into architecture, but econs may or may not be it.

Installed this personal financial management software last night. Finally I'm pissed enough by my own lack of financial management ability to actually try to do something about it. It may or may not work, but at least I'm trying and I'll try to make it work. Got to, and there are great incentives for me to. Uni life shall be tough if I can't manage my money properly. Not to mention the much awaited Japan trip may slip out of my plans. The added financial liability by the kittens too...starting to impress upon me I really got to manage. At least my income shall increase gradually. So I get a gentle learning slope on financial management. First month I had only my temp job salary, this coming second month I shall have half the tution income (half goes to agency) on top of my monthly salary. Beginning of April I shall then have my full monthly income of Tution + Salary.

It's always good to lack money when you are trying to manage your money better. LOL. Helps you learn prioritising your consumption.

Starting to go on iknow.co.jp regularly now. That's trying to instill more discipline in myself. The lack of discipline in myself has really done me a lot of harm over the years - JC academics wouldn't be so bad if I didn't slack the four years in RG. While I bucked up slightly in J1, it wasn't quite enough to compensate my four years of negligence in studies. By the time it was J2, it was too late. I suppose I might not have done so badly in that I'm probably not the worse among the JC A levels students in Singapore..but..I could have done a lot better. So anyway, bringing the topic back to iknow.co.jp...Might as well start instilling discipline in the learning of something I like, like Japanese. Lack of discipline was what made me drop out of MOELC in sec 1 anyway.

While I have smart friends...geniuses in fact...and thus I keep telling people that I'm dumb...I know I'm not all that bad bah. Shouldn't let myself continue rotting away like that. Hopefully it's not too late, and coming next Friday won't be a black friday for me. Can you imagine if it's not on 6th but on 13th?? =S

EDIT: P.S. I switch between colemak and qwerty at work now that that I'm actually making the switch pretty fast now. So proud of myself. LOL.
