I haven't been blogging since....I don't even remember when. So it's hiatus all the way minus the times when I suddenly feel the urge to blog. For now, some quick updates on me.
I am like QWERTY handicapped. Ok-speed on colemak, but miserable on QWERTY. And I am typing this on QWERTY.
CSE proposal ish finished! Though yucky and lousy but if is over. It's the end of the beginning. muahahahaha.
I seriously need more than 72hours a day. Yup, not 48 hours, but 72 hours.
I joined Jap Club.
I am (re-)considering rebonding my hair. The only thing pulling me back, to be serious with myself is some comment somebody made in the beginning of last year. So yup, till that person tells me to rebond it, I probably won't.
I am still in love with this. I want antique gold and bling (the two on the right). ahhhh.
Anyway, school's good. Better than I thought. I'll probably retract this statement soon, when I start getting horrible grades for tests and CA. Still, I really love going to school. Towards the end of the holidays, I was already feeling awful. Going back to school cured that, and I'm not sure how. Life felt more purposeful I suppose. And I get to see my friends everyday!
Somehow, the beginning of this year feels a little bit like how my birthday should be. I feel loved. HAHA. The entire world keeps giving me presents. I would take a photo of them, but my stupid handphone is spoiled and my replacement handphone is so lousy that it doesn't have a phone. Mark got me a super cute white Koala from New Zealand, which I decided shall be a guy and named Snowflake. It shall live in my locker everyday, go to class with me, and go back home with me on weekends for baths. yay!! Shuyi gave me a really really nice wooden bracelet, a cross charm that blinkers in red and blue and a case/pouch! My sister loves the charm, but I am not selling it to her no matter what. haha. Waihan gave me a handphone strap too (from Philippines)! It's super bulky though, so I'm probably not using it for my handphone (especially not with that lousy yucky handphone I have now). It's really really nice...has all the suites from cards. It looks fitting for a bag charm!!! Hmm...but somehow I get reminded of how lousy I am at bridge each time I look at the charm. haha.
Speaking of which, there's a dumb new rule in school. "No card games at all times." Meaning, no poker, no cards, not even Uno or Old Maid or anything else. Aaron Tan said can play mahjong in school since it's a tile game. LOL. I don't mind. I like mahjong.
With all these presents, I feel loved. But it reminds me of how pathetic my holidays were. I didn't go anywhere at all. I wanna go New Zealand too!!!! haha.
P.S. Sorry CQ...I try try try get the wrap with you by end Jan, early Feb??
**Update: A few minutes ago, I stuck a deal. I can talk about going back to church with mum again, after my first CA. YAY.
I didn't know what I am feeling, or why I'm feeling this way. It's kinda like a stony mood. (so stony, i'm not really using the com.) Then unexpectedly, I summed it up while talking to someone online.

This is a new year. 2008. I went to Stacy's countdown party last night. It was pretty good. I had fun playing mahjong. I wonder though, whether I would feel as at peace if I stayed at home.
I feel really grateful. 2007 was not a smooth-sailing year with me plagued with emotional turmoils. But it must be one of the years I enjoyed the most. I meet good friends - people who I probably will never forget, even if I do lose touch with them in the (hopefully) distant future. I love Stacy. And even if I'm not so close with certain people like eugene (seow) and gang/more peopleanymore, they were an important part of my life. I'm grateful to everyone who played a part in my life. Who helped make my life more interesting. And I really really really really like you a lot. So much I don't believe myself. It's unbelievable so maybe I don't. I don't know.
I need to find myself in this new year. Find more of the real self I've lost since long ago. Great progress was made this year already.
More new year resolutions as usual. But this time, I intend to keep them.
Better self-discipline. The mugging plan I've come up with, I plan to stick with it. If I fail to keep this resolution, possibly my entire future shall be doomed.
More focus. Focus on life, and less rotting away. Even cross-stitching is better than nothing. When I feel like rotting in front of the com, then add variety into my life. Which leads to the next resolution.
Less laziness. Change can be good for quality of life.
And I plan to pause the 'screwing up my life' routine this year. At least till A levels is over.
I shall show more appreciation for my friends.
And show my love for my sister and brother more.
I try to restrain from making superficial resolutions this year. I shall be a new person. I'll try to. Give me a chance at life. I hope it's not too late. A LEVELS. i don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing.
P.S. I am going homecoming breakfast tomorrow. P.P.S. I totally did not study during the holidays.
