More eventful/purposeful, less "nothing-to-do" so far..but far from exciting. SERIOUSLY. sigh. nvm, i shaLL strive for excitement AFTER i get my interim report. =P which also meant after my physics PT. Yep, I am not even into 1/3 of my pt yet. Am i dead or am i dead? Sigh.
Anywayz, hopes are dashed about doing something with my domain. Mum happily decided to keep the modem in the day and restrict my "net hours" to 10pm-12mn. hmm. But i guess it's actually a good thing. Disciplines me to get down to the much needed studying..judging on my maths standards. =P So yup, doubt I can do much. I won't do anything else in fact, until my pangya character reaches beginner rank. For now, I shall just chiong Pangya.

Woot! How long have I been waiting for this day? Anyway, spurred by Shan's post, and also because I missed "Over The Hedge" by 15mins, I went to watch "Xmen: The Last Stand" today..
Self-admittedly, I don't make good reviews. But my impression of it isn't that terrific. Not that it's a bad movie..It's not bad really. Just that the plot really doesn't take me in. Except for parts I guess. And the movie's pacing felt wierd. Unlike Kong Kong, which is although EXTREMELY long, but the pacing was terrific to creating the kind of mood (emotions?) it wants to evoke. For Xmen, well..first things first, it felt as though the screen time for ALL the characters are either a bit too fragmented, or too little. It felt rushed through..Almost like Harry Potter GOF only that Xmen's lots better..Well, you may disagree with me..Having said that, it's still a good movie. I mean, XMEN!! How can one miss it?? Sigh, but it is a dissapointment that the LAST movie on Xmen isn't to my taste..

ANYWAY, CAN WAIT FOR THE HOLS! GET MORE TIME TO CONCENTRATE ON THIS VERY MUCH NEGLECTED AND WASTED WEBSPACE.
and also to pull up my gpa. my grades are horrible. especailly math. not that other subjects are much better off, but yeah, you get the idea. =(

What I realised today is that I really need to dewind once in a while, even if I have not been doing very well. Dewind not as in the "going-to-arcade-and-go-crazy" kind, but in the more natural sense. A walk in a park, the beach, or BASKETBALL. Never knew basketball can do that sort of thing to you. But it helped me vent ...(anger? frustration? God knows what).
Anyway, I failed math.
Like that's big news. Of course I fail math. I just cannot do math. But somehow, like the world is against me, math is just
so important in the society. sigh. I've never been crowd conforming anyway. Just tolerate being termed as wierd, out-of-the-crowd for a while more...till death. Ok, that's pessimistic. Mustn't continue thinking this way anymore.
But sometimes it's difficult. If feels as though all the hard work all boils to nothing in the end. Afterall, as one of the chinese sayings go..you come into this world with nothing, you leave with nothing. Plus, not all hard work is reciprocated with results. I know there is this saying that you leave with experience, but..It'd take kinda a saint to think this way all the time, especially when you are faced with numerous difficulties simultaneously. There is this rather lame quote I found though..
"Experience is all that you have left when you have nothing else left.
Oh well, must get on with my neverending pile of work le. Wanted to talk about how i felt used one...but guess I don't even have the time to rant about my feelings here anymore. In Singapore's pragmatic society, emotions and thoughts give way to facts and figures. Ciao.

Super cool last night and I had a lot of fun! But choir concert's rather dissapointing though..Not as good as last year's. Shan and Perlin keeps saying that it's not all that bad and that I am having standards too high for them. But I have been looking forward to this concert..Guess last year's concert really jacked up the standards and expectations, and they fell below that mark. Oh well..
Reasons why I say it's not as good (as it should be):
- The choice of songs..Blue is so...erm..But I think Shanghai Tang's a good choice. =)))
- The sec 3 busking. OMG, I didn't know our junior choir members are that bad. They can't really sing, with the exception to two of them. Make that three, there's a third that's
acceptable.
- The storyline for the musical part of the concert. It feels like it forced to piece together, and it just doesn't make sense. Plus, many scenes were abrupt. And it feels like it's either lack of practise or stage fright. I tend to think it's the first one..lack of practise.
But there are good stuff..
- Sec 4 busking group are SO GOOD. too bad they can't do what they did last year..sing individual solo for a medley of different songs. And their "screentime" was so short. But it's cute and funky!
- There were some movie references and short quips, jokes inserted here and there in the musical.."I smell like vinegar" score A plus. REmember english lessons? The empathsis on 'target audience'...lol.
After the concert, shan, sammie, perlin, germ, and i planned to go home together. But when we passed orchard, shan asked us whether we want to walk around orchard a bit before going home. Since no one objected, we went. Basically just walk around and talk..We did check out Emax though, but due to BUDGET problems, we didn't do anything there, except borrow their tables for a arm wrestling tournament. =P Then we realised the time and started to head towards the mrt..Then, sammie and germ wanted to eat macdonalds..So we spent some more time at the macdonalds at lucky plaza..Before we know it, the last train's leaving soon and we rushed to the mrt station. Luckily, we didn't miss the last train..duh. Can you imagine us taking NR2?? And NR2's only for me and sammie..I don't even know what germ, shan and perlin can take!

Yes, I cut my hair. Back to the cutsy hairstyle i had in primary one. But it looks cool this time round kay? hmph. Ok, fine. I'm decieving myself.
Anyway, been bz. Can't blog much. Can tell from previous post as well as this current one. Mum's in a bad mood these days, without dad's company. I am in a very bad position and very risky position using the com for blogging. Mum's arguing with everyone in the family. So that's all. Sayonara.~

They call chinese medicine bitter and western ones sweet. How true. haha. Anyway, I went to the doctor's for a mc today, since I didn't go for 2.4km run. A trainee doctor attended to me, which meant he's young. Not like the usual old/middle-age boring old doctor. Of course, he's not handsome or anything (I don't have that great a luck). But...He's nice. haha. That's vague I know. But he keeps trying to make conversation and it feels comfortable chatting with him. I almost felt like not wanting the consultation to end. LOL. Ok, maybe partially that feeling was also because I was his last paitient before he moves on to the next stage. He told me so. He went like, "You're my last paitient for today before I go on *mumble/can't here* so I *mumble*..". Then he apologised to me for his "incoherrent speech" because he has spoken too much for the day. So cute right?? haha. And he assumes that I want to be a doctor and went on about how I should go about planning my academic route. You should see his dissapointed face when I says I prefer humans more..and that I don't take bio. LOL. He even took my blood pressure, and he admitted it was for nothing! like for practice or something. How often do you meet such a cute doctor I ask you? Heh..If I were few years older, I would have fall for him man! lol. But oh well, too bad I'm so young. *He called me

Of course, I didn't get the time to do the tagboard. But I did try out Pangya!
And I am addicted to Pangya! I know, it being a golf game and all, most would hate it and dismiss it as boring. But somehow, I'm just addicted to it. Maybe it's because I've learnt golf in school during PE? Or maybe it's just because it's full of anime characters. Haha.
Really busy though. Can't blog long. So sad..Shan's comments (see tagboard) hurt me. =(
