Rainforest themed ballrooms <333

Today's rather fun haha. Went for my first session for this pre-architecture course which nat's cornell interviewer is giving. (though i was terribly late.) today's session was at terminal 3 of the airport. Oh man, so long never been to the airport le. I miss the viewing gallery. Shall go back there soon by myself. But anyway, he's a rather interesting guy, though the lessons are....as queenie put it, more of a he teaches you absorb kind. It's the kinda lesson I haven't had in awhile so I'm not really used to it. I mean 4 years in RG, it's always been rather interactive. RJ too. I mean true, there are some lessons which we found not so interactive, but that's because we took the interactiveness for granted already. If you compare our lessons with say, the neighbourhood primary school...the difference is great. The RJ culture doesn't allow the lessons to have a purely one-way transfer of knowledge anyway. The student always contribute somehow.

Yet the pre-architecture course was a one-way thing. I suppose I should get used to it soon. Haha. Wonders if the NUS architecture is like that.

So anyway, we toured the crown plaza hotel..which was EXTREMELY NICE. I especially love the ballroom's design actually. The moment I stepped in, I loved it. It's the kinda thing I wanna come out with. Though, of course, that would be interior design. I wonder if any architect actually does both the architectural design and the interior design. If it's possible, I really would like to do both. I mean, if Woha does both, such that the two aspects of design complements each other, they probably have a team of both architects and interior designers. So it's highly possible that some of the architects are actually capable of doubling as interior designers no?

Haha, these are just dreams though. I'm still not confident of getting into architecture afterall. The aptitude test and the interviews shall be scary. There are so many better people out there than me. XS

Went to eat dinner and Ben&Jerry with shuyi after lesson (though shuyi had her dinner already). I decided I really really like cheesecake brownie flavour. haha. But each time I eat Ben&Jerry I say the same thing about the flavour I eat each time anyway. =P

ahhhhhhh. can't wait for sat to come. lanning with roger merv aaron and people. lol. and really really shall make time to visit airport soon. LOL. still gotta take up photography too.

AND I NEED TO THINK UP SOMETHING TO MODEL FOR THE PRE-ARCHI COURSE. lol. any ideas people? throw them at me man.
