Random Thoughts (2)

A continuation with the random thoughts.

Random Thought Number 4

I like looking at kids because I find them carefree without a worry in the world, except for the occasional "Am I going to have ice cream tonight?". They're innocent and cute.

While this is what most people think anyway, but for the first time ever, I actually made a connection between my liking for kids and my own childhood experiences. The fact is, if at J2 telling Stacy about my childhood experiences can cause me to cry, I don't need much self-awareness to know that it really made a huge impact on me...aka "life-scarring" even if it sounds dramatic. And yesterday as I was sitting in Causeway Point eating, I realise that I like the kids mostly for their innocence, their lack of experience. I probably even envy their being able to experience childhood the way it should be. That's why I've always been so sensitive towards the emotional aspects of a kid's life...

Random Thought Number 5

Everyone of us have a case of mild obsessive compulsive disorder. But I don't know what is mine.

This isn't so random. Because it was raph who mentioned about the ocd theory. But I realise I really don't know myself very well. It occurred to me that even though I've always known that I cannot stand flash photography during concerts very well, it never occurred to me that my tolerance for it is way lower than other people. I never thought of it as my "pet peeve" either, till Vanessa used the term during jazz concert. It's rather ironic that I try to know people as much as I can, yet I don't know myself very well. I want to...but it's so difficult to get to know me. Now I sound like I'm not one person. LOL.

There is supposed to be a Random Thought Number 6 here. But I forgot what is it.
