Self-destruction, contrary to popular belief, is never a voluntary maneuver. It's always involuntary, no matter what the truth may seem to be. Even when it is born out of personal choice, the choice is only but an illusion. For if you choose otherwise, you suffer a fate far worse off. And often, this very 'fate' you are avoiding is one which only you understands best. No one, not even the closest friend or kin, can ever understand what you are going through.
And worst still, 'reality' would try to have you believe that your current suffering are fruits of your own doing. That indeed, you do have a choice, and all this talk about involuntary sacrifice of genuine joy, the choosing of the lesser devil, are simply attempts to excuse yourself from sinning - from causing harm to your very own self.

Okie..Chun tagged me and therefore I have an excuse (and something) to blog. Plus the quiz looks quite substance too. So here goez~
1. If your lover betrayed you, what will your reaction be?It depends on what kind of betrayal. But probably I'll just become ultra upset, dwell in my sorrows (though I know that's not good, but knowing myself I probably wouldn't be able to help it). And after awhile, when I gathered enough courage and determination, I would either move on...or decide whether to forgive him.
2. If you can have dreams come true, what would they be?To stay in touch with my closest friends for as long as we live, and if possible, stay as close. To remember all the good memories we create together. To let the people who made significant impact in my life know how important they really are or were to me.
3. What will your dream wedding be like?Must be refreshing, unconventional and fun! =P By the sea might be nice too...but I don't want a sandy beach. And must have lots of flowers!!! HAHA!
4. Are you confused as to what lies ahead of you?Very. I really don't know what I'm heading towards in the future. Just take one step at a time bah.
5. What’s your ideal lover like?Chun's answer really make sense. The word "lover" is always used with negative connotations. But let's just assume that it's "lover" in the positive sense...I'm really not sure. Someone who I feel happy and comfortable and unrestricted with...understands me...genuine and unpretending...maybe slightly romantic? and must respect me, my beliefs, values and my freedom.
6. Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone?To be loved back by someone you love. To love someone and not have your feelings reciprocated is awful. But to be loved without loving is meaningless.
7. How long do you intend to wait for someone you really love?I really don't know. It really all depends. I'll wait till my heart tells me not to wait anymore.
8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do?I'll still be his friend. I mean, if I like the guy, then he must get along with me and is of good friend material right? But I'll try to forget my feelings. And be really careful not to affect his relationship through subconscious behavior. I might even get to know his girlfriend, and assure her through my behaviors and interactions with them that I'm of no threat to her. Become good friends with both of them! Moreover, if his girlfriend becomes my good friend, then I would want the best for all of them, and that would provide further motivation for me to forget my feelings for him and wish them all the happiness.
9. Is there anything that’s made you unhappy these days?Plenty. But no point telling the whole world bah.

11. How do you see yourself in ten years time?That is...when I'm 28..I'll still be working to support my brother for uni I suppose. Maybe I'd even open my own business! Like a shop..or a cafe..or something. Donno lah. It all depends...The future is filled with uncertainty.

14. Would you rather be single & rich or married but poor?Depends on how poor you define poor. If too poor, then probably I won't marry, coz money troubles can be straining on relationships. Otherwise, I'd rather be married but poor, coz I fear loneliness.
15. What’s the first thing you do every morning?Sit and stone for a couple of minutes. Unless I'm already late for school.
16. Would you give it all in a relationship?Yes. What's the point if you don't.
17. If you fall in love with two people simultaneously, who would you pick?Nobody, till my feelings for one exceed my feelings for the other by a significant amount.
18. What type of friends do you like?All my friends? If I don't like them at all, they wouldn't be my friends already, no?
19. What type of friends do you dislike?...They wouldn't be my friends if I dislike them. But I dislike aspects of them. For example, yesh, smoking. But regrettably, some of my friends do smoke. Sigh.
